My wife and I started our retail store, Island
Discount Tackle, from scratch in 1988. We borrowed
every dime to do it and it took us 10 years to pay
back that initial loan. We have been open 10+ hours
a day, 364 days per year for over 20 years. I mention
this because, to us, our business is not an inanimate
thing. It is a living, breathing entity that, like
